This was pivotal because Jaedon is generally quiet, and reserved. Seeing him open up and be willing to serve Dreams Academy by mentoring was amazing!! The time I had at Dreams Academy was amazing. There are so many informative things that went on. Every week, we got to meet a new person that would come speak to us about their profession. Other times people would come in and teach us how to go on a job interview, how to tie a tie, and what to wear. We also learned what it means to be an entrepreneur. This program helped me learn right from wrong and to become more aware of the things going on around me and in my community. That is how this program has led to me becoming a better young man.

Dreams Academy has give Isaac experiences and lessons that as a single mom, I could’ve never done. I loved watching him get excited to google different knots for ties so he could show Mr.B the next week or him learning how to cut fruit into different designs with the influence of the chef he was introduced to! It’s been amazing watching him grow, and now as a senior in high school, I look back at the pictures & the friendships that have been born because of the vision of Brandon R. Scarborough, and I am forever grateful.
